Independent digital-safety education

About ScamSense

ScamSense helps newcomers to Canada understand current scams and cyber threats without technical jargon, alarming language, or assumed knowledge of Canadian institutions.

Our mission is to turn credible public advisories into short, practical lessons: what happened, which warning signs matter, and what a safer next step looks like. ScamSense is an independent educational service and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada.

We believe trustworthy safety tools should be clear about their limits. ScamSense does not replace police, legal, financial, or government advice and never needs passwords, one-time codes, banking credentials, or immigration document numbers.
